Key – Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex PCB layouts for high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal boards.
• Work on multi-layer PCB designs ensuring compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC standards.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate schematics into optimized PCB layouts.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Test) checks.
• Validate designs using SI/PI analysis tools and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  
  

Required – Skills

• PCB Design Tools: Hands-on experience with Zuken CR5000 and CR8000, including schematic capture, PCB layout, library creation, design rule setup, and release of manufacturing deliverables.
• High-Speed PCB Design: Strong understanding of high-speed design principles, including controlled impedance routing, length matching, differential pair routing, via optimization, and stack-up planning to ensure signal integrity and reliability.
• Signal Integrity (SI) & Power Integrity (PI): Proven experience performing SI and PI analysis to identify and mitigate issues such as reflections, crosstalk, jitter, EMI/EMC, ground bounce, and power noise using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
• IPC Standards & Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IPC standards (such as IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-A-610) and PCB manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring designs are optimized for DFM, DFA, and DFT compliance.
• Complex Board Design: Ability to design and manage complex, multi-layer PCBs featuring high pin-count BGAs, DDR memory interfaces, and high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SerDes), from concept through fabrication and bring-up.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with hardware engineers, SI/PI teams, mechanical teams, and manufacturing partners to resolve design challenges and ensure successful product delivery.
