JOB ID 11466: Data Engineer
METAFORGE IT SOLUTIONS, an Austin, TX based IT Services Firm has multiple openings for JOB ID 11466: Data Engineer.

Job duties include: 

• Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with focus on ETL and Business Intelligence.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Implement and manage big data solutions to store and process large volumes of data.
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is properly structured and accessible for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
• Develop and maintain automated data processing and monitoring tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve data-related problems and challenges.
• Design and develop Business Intelligence reports based on ad-hoc and functional requirements.
• Provide post implementation support and resolve critical and high priority tickets as per the SLAs.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Comp Sci, IT, Engg, or related with at least 60 months of experience.
